USF WBB: South Florida Women’s Basketball Announces AAC Schedule

Tampa, Fla. – Oct. 2, 2024 – Entering his 25th season as head coach of the University of South Florida women’s basketball program, Jose Fernandez announced the program’s 2024-25 American Athletic Conference (AAC) schedule on Tuesday. The 2024-25 Women’s Basketball season is presented by Tampa General Hospital.

For the second year in a row, the league’s scheduling model features 18 contests. Each conference member will play six of its 12 opponents twice while facing six opponents a single time, split between three home and three road matchups

HOME AND HOME

This year the Bulls will double up against Rice, North Texas, East Carolina, Temple, Charlotte, and Florida Atlantic.

Games: at Rice (12/29/2024), Charlotte (1/1/2025), Temple (1/4/2025), at North Texas (1/11/2025), Florida Atlantic (1/18/2025), at East Carolina (1/25/2025), North Texas (2/1/2025), at Temple (2/8/2025), Rice (2/12/2025), at Florida Atlantic (2/15/2025), at Charlotte (2/18/2025), and East Carolina (3/1/2025)

YUENGLING CENTER PAIRINGS

South Florida will welcome UTSA, Memphis, and UAB for home-only pairings.

Games: UAB, (1/14/2025), UTSA (1/29/2025), and Memphis (2/22/2025).

LEAGUE ROAD CONTESTS

USF Will hit the road for away game-only contests against Tulsa, Tulane, Wichita St.

Games: at Wichita St. (1/8/2025), at Tulane (1/22/2025), and at Tulsa (2/26/2025).

The 2025 American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, March 8-12.

All home and conference games not televised nationally will be televised on ESPN+. Tip times will be released at a later date.
