Tampa, Fla. – June 4, 2024 – University of South Florida’s women’s basketball Head Coach Jose Fernandez announced Justin Keller is staying on board the staff as the Video Coordinator on Tuesday afternoon.
“We are so thrilled to keep Justin (Keller) on our staff here at South Florida,” said Head Coach Fernandez. “Justin has shown his drive and dedication over the years as a student and graduate manager. We look forward to seeing him flourish in his role as our video coordinator.”
“I’m so excited to step into the Video Coordinator role for USF Women’s Basketball,” said Keller. “Tampa has always been home to me, and having been part of the USF WBB family for the past seven seasons, this opportunity is especially meaningful. I appreciate the trust and support from the coaching staff and I’m eager to contribute to the continued success of our program.”
COACHING RESUME
Keller is no stranger to the Bulls, as he has been involved with the program since his undergrad years (2018-22). During his four years as a student manager, Keller arranged necessary training equipment for games and practices, helped organize transportation and hotel accommodations, packed, traveled with, and distributed necessary practice and game day materials to players and staff.
The Tampa native then moved into a graduate assistant role within the women’s basketball program. From 2022-24, Keller managed day-to-day basketball, equipment, and facility operations. He also assisted with cataloging game film recordings, statistics, and produced comprehensive scouting reports and game forecasts. Keller also aided in the development of Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu, who was a second-round pick by the Seattle Storm in the 2023 WNBA Draft.
EDUCATION
Keller earned his Bachelor of Arts in Statistics along with minors in Film & New Media Studies, and Astronomy from the University of South Florida in May 2021. In May of 2024, Keller graduated from USF’s Vinik Sport and Entertainment Management Program with his Master of Business Administration and a Masters in Sport and Entertainment Management.
