USF WBB: Bulls Ink Lee Teichman On National Signing Day

Tampa, Fla. – Nov. 13, 2024 – South Florida women’s basketball head coach Jose Fernandez has announced the signing of Lee Teichman on Wednesday afternoon.

Teichman will join the Bulls in 2025-26.

Teichman comes to Tampa Bay from Bitan Aharon, Israel. The guard brings a wealth of international playing experience, as Teichman has seen action in four different FIBA Competitions (2024 FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket, 2023 FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship, 2023 FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship, and the 2022 FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship Division B). Across all national team competitions that Teichman has played in she has averaged 6.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, and 1.2 apg.

The Bitan Aharon, Israel native was also selected as one of the top 60 prospects from 25 different countries across Europe and the Middle East to play in the NBA and FIBA sponsors Basketball Without Borders Event. Teichman is also currently playing for Ramat Hasharon in the Israel Division A Basketball League.

Coach Fernandez on Teichman: “Lee is a quick and crafty point guard. She strives in an up tempo style of play so she will fit perfectly in our system at USF.”
