TAMPA, Fla. (June 27, 2024) – The Valspar Championship/Copperhead Charities continued its support of the University of South Florida men’s and women’s golf programs Wednesday with a $10,000 gift directed toward the continued enhancement of the USF Golf Practice Facility.
The donation will help keep the facility as well as the team van updated with the latest features to support the continued success of the USF programs. The Valspar Championship/Copperhead Charities proudly continued a partnership with the USF Foundation to present the Bulls with a gift benefitting student-athlete development.
“I’m very appreciative of the support the PGA Valspar Championship, Tracy West, and the Copperhead Charities continue to provide our women’s and men’s Golf programs,” said Head Coach Steve Bradley. “Their contributions have been pivotal in the improvements of our facility. Their support throughout the years has allowed us, to improve the putting greens, the hitting bay, the team lounge, and the team van. The successes both programs have achieved can be directly attributed to their support. Thank you!”

The Valspar Championship is Tampa Bay’s PGA TOUR event and a part of the annual FedExCup competition. The 2025 Valspar Championship will be held on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida from March 17-23, 2025.
