USF men’s golf: Shubham Jaglan Wins First Individual Title, Bulls Take Third at Linger Longer Invitational

TAMPA, Fla (March 18, 2025) – The Bulls posted their best finish of the spring by placing third at the Linger Longer Invitational, backed by Shubham Jaglan’s first career individual title. They also carded a season-best, 21-under through three rounds.

Shubham Jaglan jumped out to a commanding lead after round one (-8) and never looked back on his way to his first career individual title. Jaglan finished with a 204, his career- best 54-hole total. His 64 in round one serves as his career low-round. It has been quite the spring for the senior from India, as he recently broke the program-record for most career eagles (19).

The Bulls had a three-way tie for 16th between Jake Peacock, Wilhelm Ryding and Cooper Smith. Ryding tied his season low-round with a 68 in round three. He also set his best 54-hole total with a final score of 214 through three rounds. Cooper Smith tied his season low-round in round three with a 66. Jake Peacock extended his team-lead in rounds under 70 with six after the Linger Longer Invitational.

Matthew Joseph rounded out the lineup with a 223 (+7), while tying his season low-round with a 70 in round one.

The Bulls now have two team events left before they head to Sarasota for the AAC Championships with a chance to defend their title. They head to Stuart, Fla on March 24 for the Valspar Collegiate, hosted by the University of Houston.

The Bulls have posted 24 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
