Fireworks, Alumni Game and in-stadium Fan Fest highlight 6 p.m. kickoff
TAMPA, MARCH 30, 2022 – The USF Spring Game presented by USF Federal Credit Union will return to Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, April 9 with fans treated to postgame fireworks, an alumni flag football game, in-stadium Fan Fest and the opportunity to see a Bulls team that returns 88 percent of its production from 2021 and welcomed a program-record 21 early enrollees this spring.
The game is set for a 6 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast live on 95.3 FM/620 AM WDAE and Bulls Unlimited on iHeart radio. The Alumni Flag Football game presented by Allstate Insurance will take place at halftime and will feature 40 former players, including 15 NFL players, five Super Bowl Champions and a CFL Grey Cup champion either playing or coaching in the game. Rosters will be announced on GoUSFBulls.com in the coming days.
Fans can enjoy the Beef O’Brady’s Fan Fest inside the stadium near the south endzone before and during the game. Several returning alumni players will circulate through the Fan Fest throughout the day and will be available for photos and autographs, including Super Bowl winners Kayvon Webster, Kawika Mitchell and Austin Reiter, current NFL players Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mitchell Wilcox and D’Ernest Johnson, and standout Bulls Matt Grothe, George Selvie, Sam Barrington, Andre Hall, Lee Roy Selmon Jr. and Mike Jenkins.
Postgame fireworks will follow the conclusion of the game.
The game will not be streamed, but The Identity Tampa Bay will provide a post-game wrap up with highlights and game highlights will also be distributed on USF football social channels.
Fans wishing to attend the Spring Game are asked to register in advance to receive a free mobile ticket and parking either on-line at HERE or by calling 1-800-GoBulls. Current season ticket members have had tickets and parking passes for the Spring Game comparable to their current season tickets loaded onto their accounts.
GAME DETAILS
PARKING: Is Free. Lots open at 4 p.m. Fan parking is in Lots 5 & 6 south of the stadium, best accessed off Himes Ave.
GATES: Stadium Gates will open at 5 p.m. Entrance is by mobile ticket (free, please register HERE; Current season ticket members have had tickets and parking passes for the Spring Game comparable to their current season tickets loaded onto their accounts).
Lower bowl seating will be in the west stands, behind the home bench.
BEEF O’BRADY’S FAN FEST: The Fan Fest will move inside the stadium and will be located near the south endzone on the field level. Beef O’Brady’s Fan Fest will open at 5 p.m. and remain open throughout the game featuring:
- USF Sun Dolls, Cheerleaders & Rocky
- Photo Opportunities
- Food & Beverage Stations
- Kidz Zone
- Alumni Player Photos & Autographs
- Cornhole
KICKOFF: Set for 6 p.m. The Bulls will be divided into a Green team and a White team for the game.
- A 20-minute Alumni Flag Football game will take place at halftime
SELECT A SEAT: Fans who have purchased season tickets or would like to do so at the game, can enjoy a select-a-seat opportunity at the stadium prior to kickoff of the Spring Game. To do so, fans must RSVP by calling 1-800-GoBulls. Fans that renew or purchase new season tickets at the game will receive special access to watch the Alumni Game from the Raymond James Stadium field during halftime.

ABOUT USF FOOTBALL
The USF football program first took the field in 1997 and celebrated its 25th season (22nd at the FBS level) in 2021 while breaking ground on a $22 million Indoor Performance Facility. The Bulls have posted 15 winning seasons, earned 16 All-America selections, including 2021 consensus All-American Brian Battie, and 31 first-team all-conference selections. USF has had 30 players selected in the NFL Draft and has made 10 bowl games appearances (going 6-4 in those games), posting a program-record six straight appearances from 2005-2010 and most recently making four straight bowl appearances from 2015-18. The Bulls posted back-to-back 10-win seasons in 2016 and 2017, logging a program-record 11-2 mark in 2016 while finishing both seasons ranked in the Top 25. USF spent a program-record 20 straight weeks ranked in the Top 25 during the 2016 and 2017 seasons and reached as high as No. 2 in the national rankings during the 2007 season.
