Bulls move games with Louisville, Miami, NC State and Western Kentucky;
Add match-ups with Southern Mississippi, Bethune-Cookman and South Carolina State
TAMPA, FEB. 14, 2023 – The South Florida football program announced the movement of several previously scheduled home contests in future seasons, including three contests vs. ACC foes, and the addition of match-ups vs. Southern Mississippi, Bethune-Cookman and South Carolina State.
The Bulls will make the following changes to previously scheduled contests with ACC opponents Louisville, Miami and NC State.
• Louisville – The contest scheduled with the Cardinals in Tampa on Aug. 31, 2024 will move back to Sept. 4, 2027.
The teams also moved a previously scheduled game at Louisville in the 2026 season back to Aug. 31, 2030.
• Miami – The contest scheduled with the Hurricanes in Tampa on Sept. 4, 2027 will move up to Sept. 21, 2024.
• NC State – The contest scheduled with the Wolfpack in Tampa on Sept. 14, 2024 will move back to Sept. 8, 2029.
USF also moved a previously scheduled home date with Western Kentucky from Sept. 21, 2024 back to Sept. 20, 2031 in Tampa.
The Bulls added a two-game series with Southern Mississippi in the 2024 and 2028 seasons. USF will travel to Southern Miss on Sept. 14, 2024 and the Golden Eagles will come to Tampa on Sept. 23, 2028.
USF also added two home contests with Bethune-Cookman in Tampa, first on Aug. 31, 2024, replacing the date vacated by Louisville, and then on Sept. 16, 2028.
The Bulls also added one home game vs. South Carolina State on Sept. 20, 2025. That game replaces a previously scheduled contest with San Jose State on that date, which both universities have agreed to nullify.

USF will take the field for the first of 15 spring practices on March 6 and will practice for five weeks leading up to the spring game on Fri., April 14 at Corbett Stadium on the USF campus. USF returns three primary starters from the 2022 season on offense, four including senior offensive tackle Donovan Jennings (Tampa) who started four games in 2023 before a season-ending injury and brings a team-high 35 career starts into his final campaign. The Bulls return nine primary starters from 2022 on defense, led by safety Matthew Hill (Lawrenceville, Ga.) who brings 17 career starts into his senior campaign. USF returns 27 players with starting experience, including quarterbacks Gerry Bohanon Jr. (Earle, Ark./7 starts in 2022 before a season-ending injury) and Byrum Brown (Raleigh, N.C./started the last two games of 2022).

ABOUT USF FOOTBALL
The USF football program first took the field in 1997 and completed its 26th season in 2022 while completing construction on a new $22 million Indoor Performance Facility. The Bulls have posted 15 winning seasons, earned 16 All-America selections, including 2021 consensus All-American kick returner Brian Battie, and had 32 first-team all-conference selections. USF has had 30 players selected in the NFL Draft and has made 10 bowl game appearances (going 6-4 in those games), posting a program-record six straight appearances from 2005-2010 and most recently making four straight bowl appearances from 2015-18.
