USF ATHLETICS: USF & WFLA Launch #HornsUp: USF All Access Weekly Television Program

30-minute TV show airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on WTTA Great 38

TAMPA, AUG. 31, 2022 – USF Athletics and WFLA News Channel 8 have partnered to provide USF fans with an exciting, weekly inside look at Bulls Athletics with the debut of the 30-minute, television program #HornsUp: USF All Access.

The weekly program, which will air Sunday nights at 9 p.m. on WFLA sister station WTTA Great 38, debuts this Sunday and will run through the fall with an up-close look at head coach Jeff Scott’s football program and weekly features from around USF Athletics. WFLA sports anchor Karen Loftus will be joined by USF Athletics reporter Caylee Cottrell to co-host the program being produced by 21-time Emmy-winning Awesome Films. Awesome Films previously produced USF television programs from 2014-19 that won a Suncoast Regional Emmy (2018) and a Sports Video Group (SVG)/NACDA Sports Media Award (2017) for outstanding collegiate program.

“We are very excited to partner with WFLA to return our award-winning television program to the airwaves and give our fans a really compelling, weekly look at our programs and the fantastic student-athletes and coaches in them,” Vice President of Athletics Michael Kelly said.

#HornsUp will take fans inside the Bulls’ program with stunning cinematography and unprecedented access that reveals what makes USF a unique program on the rise. The 13-episodes will track the Bulls’ development with game highlights, player and coach features and inside access to the sights and sounds of life within the USF program.

USF opens the 2022 season, the third under Scott, this Saturday with a 4 p.m. kickoff vs. No. 25-ranked BYU in Raymond James Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPNU and can be heard on 102.5 FM The Bone/102.5 HD-2 and Bulls Unlimited (TuneIn Radio).
