The Gators will welcome LSU on Friday night and the Rebels on Sunday afternoon in their final matchups of the 2025 regular season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla.- Florida will welcome LSU on Friday evening and Ole Miss on Sunday afternoon, in part of UF’s Orange and Blue Weekend. The Gators will initiate play at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, and Sunday’s match has been slated for a 1 p.m. ET start. This weekend’s home matches will conclude Florida’s 2025 regular season campaign.
Prior to Sunday’s match there will be a senior celebration on court, honoring Alicia Dudeney and Bente Spee for their time at Florida.

GATORS LAST TIME OUT
The No. 34 Florida Gators fell in a narrow 4-3 road loss to No. 46 Kentucky in their last outing. Florida took the early lead by claiming the doubles point, with dominant wins on courts one and two. The Gators’ No. 45-ranked duo of Alicia Dudeney and Bente Spee cruised to a 6-1 win, while Rachel Gailis and Talia Neilson-Gatenby followed up with a 6-3 victory to secure the first point.
In singles, Spee gave Florida a 2-0 lead with a straight-sets win on court four, but the momentum shifted as Kentucky initiated a comeback on their home courts. The Wildcats notched key singles wins on courts one and three, including an upset over UF’s No. 21 Rachel Gailis. Dudeney briefly put the Gators back in front with a hard-fought win on court two extending her singles win streak to seven, but Kentucky answered yet again. Ellie Myers dominated court six, and Asuncion Jadue clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Noemie Oliveras on court five. The loss drops Florida to 8-11 overall and 4-9 in SEC play.
ABOUT THE OPPONENTS:
The Tigers will enter Friday’s match after falling 4-1 to No. 8 Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon. The top-10 matchup proved to be a challenge for LSU with their only point of the day coming from doubles play. Prior to their loss against the Sooners, the Tigers went on a two-match win streak, defeating Missouri 4-0, and Arkansas 4-0. Overall LSU has two ranked players in singles, No. 21 Cadence Brace and No. 52 Kayla Cross. In the doubles category, the Tigers are represented by No. 4 Brace and Cross, No. 35 Tilwith Di Girolami, and No. 71 Kenna Erickson and Anita Sahdiieva.
Ahead of Sunday’s match, Ole Miss holds a 13-10 overall record and is 5-8 in conference action. The Rebels most recent matchup was a 4-0 win against Arkansas. The Sunday victory marked the Rebels’ first SEC win since Mar. 28, where they defeated Mizzou 6-1 on the road. Currently, Ole Miss has no singles players in the rankings but Ludmila Kareisova and Anaelle Lelcercq-Ficher stand at No. 31 in the doubles ranks.
