Florida Tennis Signs Nikola Daubnerova to 2024-25 Roster
Head Coach Roland Thornqvist<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/coaches/roland-thornqvist/1704> has signed Nikola Daubnerova, the fifth ranked junior in the world. Daubnerova will join the Gators in the fall of 2024.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Head Coach Roland Thornqvist has announced the signing of top recruit Nikola “Nikki” Daubnerova from Slovakia. Daubnerova was ranked fifth in the world as a junior last year and has won a total of ten doubles titles.
As a junior, Nikki Daubnerova made it to the round of 16 in singles at the 2023 Australian Open and the round of 32 in both the 2022 French Open and US Open. Last year, in doubles, she made it to the semifinals of Wimbledon and won the European Championships in Klosters, Switzerland.

On the ITF circuit, Nikola has already achieved a ranking of 706 in singles and 824 in doubles.

She is a very talented player, with a strong work ethic and has been highly successful on the ITF junior and pro circuit. Her commitment and desire to get better on and off the court will fit perfectly with our team culture. She is a great addition to our Florida Gator tennis family.”
Nikki Daubnerova will come to Gainesville in the fall of 2024 and join the Gators in their 2024-25 campaign.
