Five Gators from the 2024-25 women’s tennis roster have been awarded ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) announced the 2025 Division I Women’s ITA Scholar-Athletes, featuring five Gators from the 2024-25 season. Florida’s Bente Spee<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/bente-spee/16983>, Nikola Daubnerova<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/nikola-daubnerova/17736>, Alicia Dudeney<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/alicia-dudeney/16980>, Talia Neilson-Gatenby<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/talia-neilson-gatenby/17074>, and Noémie Oliveras<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/no-mie-oliveras/17073> were among the list of 2025 honorees.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, each player must hold at least a 3.5 GPA and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. Spee, Daubnerova, Dudeney, Neilson-Gatenby, and Oliveras surpassed these requirements at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2025, 1,462 Division I women’s student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
