From deep tournament runs, to team victories, and now taking the stage at the AIG Women’s Open.

“I’m really excited to be able to see how the top women golfers play and practice and have the opportunity to compete and compare my game to theirs,” Fuller said. “It also gives me a taste of what I’m working for and makes me more motivated.”

Fuller will compete in her first major championship as she earned first reserve earlier in the week after winning the top spot in a sudden death playoff against nine players for four reserve spots. She finished T12 (+1) in qualifying and narrowly missed an automatic qualification by one stroke.

Also known as the Women’s British Open, it is one of women’s professional golf’s five major championships and is equivalent to The Open on the men’s side. The tournament will be held at Carnoustie Golf Links in Scotland.

The Gator is one of eight amateurs in the field and joins Ingrid Lindblad (LSU) as competitors out of the SEC. Fuller will tee off round one on Thursday at 6:11 a.m. ET.
