UF WBK: Top 25 Ranked JUCO Player Sarah Deng Joins Gators 2025 Signing Class

5’10 guard, Sarah Deng, signs to the Florida Gators ahead of the 2025-26 season.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Women’s Basketball head coach Kelly Rae Finley<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/coaches/kelly-rae-finley/1866> and her staff announced the signing of Sarah Deng, a transfer from Eastern Arizona Community College. Deng will join the Gators at the start of the 2025-26 academic year.

“Sarah has a skill that changes the game in various ways,” Finley said. “She has great footwork inside and the ability to score from the perimeter.” On and off the court, Sarah is a great person, and we’re excited to welcome her and her family to Gator Nation.”

A 5’10” guard, Deng is originally from Adelaide, Australia and has spent the past two seasons at EACC. At Eastern Arizona, Deng led her team to the JUCO National Semifinal and aided in a 30-5 record for the 2023-24 season. Deng was also selected to the All-Conference Second Team.
