Italian post player, Caterina Piatti has been unveiled as part of Kelly Rae Finley<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/coaches/kelly-rae-finley/1866>’s 2025 recruiting class.
Gainesville, Fla – Head Coach Kelly Rae Finley<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/coaches/kelly-rae-finley/1866> and her staff have signed a third prospect to the incoming class of 2025. Caterina Piatti is a 6’4″ Italian native and will be the centerpiece of Coach Finley’s incoming recruiting class, marking yet another victory for the Gators in terms of recruiting elite talent.
Piatti currently plays for Lupe basketball and is considered one of the top forwards in Europe. Piatti will bring a wide range of experience to Florida as a member of several FIBA Championship teams. Piatti was also a member of Italy’s U18 National Team, accrediting a large part of her development to playing on the world stage.

Piatti will join two other signees for the class of 2025, Emilija Dakic and Sarah Deng.
