UF WBK: Gators Host Georgia in Pursuit of First SEC Win of 2025

Florida returns to the O’Dome to host the Bulldogs Sunday at noon. This will mark the Gators’ first SEC home game of the 2024-25 season.

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- Florida will open home SEC play hosting the Georgia Bulldogs Sunday at noon. The contest will mark the second conference game of 2025 for UF. Both the Gators and the Bulldogs will enter Sunday after falling on the road Thursday in their initial SEC match-ups.

Florida fell by 10 at No. 19 Alabama (79-69), and Georgia was defeated 108-82 at Vanderbilt. With one SEC loss apiece, both teams will come out eager for win No. 1 of 2025 inside the O’Dome on Sunday.

Florida and Georgia are familiar opponents and most recently met on Feb. 25, 2024 in Athens. The Gators and Bulldogs faced off twice during the 2023-24 season, splitting the season at one game apiece. UF won the first contest of 2024 defeating the Bulldogs 78-69 at home, and Georgia retaliated a month later defeating the Gators in Athens, 76-60.
