Florida in Gainesville for Sunday Tip-Off Against Alabama State
The Gators will tip off against Alabama State on Sunday at 3:45 p.m. inside the O’Dome. The matchup marks the third double-header of the season with the men playing at 1:00 p.m. versus Stetson.

GAINESVILLE, Fla.-Florida will close out 2024 non-conference play at home versus Alabama State on Sunday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. The Gators are looking to capture their ninth win of the season while the Hornets are hoping to tally their first road win of 2024-25 play.

The Gainesville contest will be aired on SECN+ and will be the second game in double-header action with the Florida men’s team. The men will initiate Sunday’s play at 1:00 p.m. versus Stetson.

Florida and Alabama State have faced one another a combined six times in recorded history. The first matchup between the Gators and the Hornets dates back to January, 1984. Overall, Florida owns five of the six contests over the Hornets, with the only loss being on the road in Montgomery on Feb. 3, 1985 (58-56).
