This marks the 27th year for the SEC Community Service Team for women’s basketball as well as for men’s basketball. All league-sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at-large teams for men’s and women’s sports being chosen from 1999-2003. The SEC began this concept with a football Community Service Team in 1994.

Dizeko has devoted 42 hours to service projects spanning from education, health, community engagement, and youth outreach.
A significant portion of Dizeko’s efforts have been dedicated to mentoring and supporting elementary students through the after-school program at the Carolyn Beatrice Parker Center, where she has played an active role in the lives of young learners. Her dedication to youth extends beyond the classroom, as she has also participated in Gator Tracks deliveries to local elementary schools, ensuring that children receive essential resources, such as shoes and clothing.
In addition to her work with children, Dizeko has volunteered her time at Shands Hospital, where she has brought comfort to patients through special initiatives such as the Blanket & Teddy Bear Giveaway, and team visits. She is also involved with Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, and local food pantries and shelters.
Overall, Dizeko has brought joy to numerous individuals in several different communities. Her contagious positivity has represented the Florida Gators in the brightest of lights, and her lasting impact extends far past the court.
