Moore is one of four women to be named to every watch list this season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gators Track and Field jumper Jasmine Moore was named a Women’s Bowerman Semifinalist, by the USTFCCCA on Wednesday afternoon. Moore is a two-time semifinalist and is one of four women who have appeared on every Women’s Bowerman update this season. The other three athletes to appear on every update are Julien Alfred from Texas, Jorinde van Klinken from Oregon, and Britton Wilson from Arkansas.
Earlier this month at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Moore earned 16 points for the Gators, finishing with gold in the triple jump (14.78m/48’6″) and bronze in the long jump (6.66m/21’10.25″). Her mark in the triple jump was a collegiate record and the second farthest jump in the world this year. Moore earned USTFCCCA First Team All-American for her performance in both horizontal jumps at the NCAA Championship and was also named USTFCCCA South Region Women’s Field Athlete of the Year.
On Monday, June 26, the USTFCCCA will announce the three female finalists for the 2023 Bowerman award.
