Monroy Collects Second Win at Tennessee Invite
Five Gator Divers finish day two with season-high performances.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Freshman divers Ana Monroy and Conor Gesing secured podium finishes for the second time this week, while five Gators scored season-bests on day two of the Tennessee Invitational. Monroy secured her second win of the invite after scoring a 307.70 on platform Thursday afternoon and Gesing’s 392.75, 3-meter score was good for second place overall.
Skip Donald led the way for Florida in the prelims, scoring a 361.90. The senior dialed up an even higher score and a season-high 375.00 to finish fifth in the finals.
Gesing improved from his morning score of 356.65 that put him sixth in the prelims. The freshman put together a great final performance for second place with 392.75.
Peyton Donald scored an advancing 331.55 where he managed to put up a new season-high of his own in the finals, 356.05.
On the women’s side, Ana Monroy’s 307.70 was best score on platform as she secured her second, first-place finish of the season on the event.
Teammates, Casey Greenberg, Carina Lumia and Caroline Pagac all set season-highs to finish top-15 out of 32. Greenberg was the next closest Gator in seventh with 238.65, followed by Carina Lumia who scored 229.60 for ninth. Pagac secured thirteenth after she scored 223.35.
In the women’s team event, Florida took first after Lumia, Greenberg and Monroy combined for a score of 329.70.

The final day of the Tennessee Invite caps off with the men’s platform and the women’s 1-meter. Friday’s prelims begin at 11:30 a.m.
