UF S&D: Gators Wrap Up Zones Wednesday

Maha Amer, Leonardo Garcia and Skip Donald qualify for NCAA Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Florida diving team concluded the four-day NCAA Zone B Diving Championships at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center.

Maha Amer, Carina Lumia, and Caroline Pagac all advanced to the final session of the platform this afternoon, but came up short on qualifying. Lumia finished 11th, Amer was 12th, and Pagac placed 16th.

Amer will return to the same diving boards next week at the NCAA Championships after qualifying in the 1-meter and 3-meter earlier this week.

Leonardo Garcia and Skip Donald are set to compete in all three events after qualifying in at least one dive while securing a top-12 spot in the others.

The Women’s NCAA Championships take place March 15-18 in Knoxville, Tenn., while the Men’s is March 22-25 in Minneapolis, Minn.
