UF S&D: Gators Close Out Florida Invitational

10 Swimmers earned an NCAA B-Cut time on day three.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –  The University of Florida men’s and women’s swimming team made their final appearance of the season at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Natatorium on Saturday, as the Gators wrapped up the Florida Invitational with FSU.

13 swimmers participated on Saturday, with 10 recording an NCAA B-cut time.

Within the three days of competition, five student-athletes recorded at least one new NCAA B-Cut time, while five improved an NCAA B-Cut time they had previously earned.

The Invite provided an opportunity for swimmers to earn an NCAA Championship-qualifying time or improve upon their existing provisional cut. Following the Invitational, 10 swimmers (6 men; 4 women) have recorded an NCAA A-cut time in at least one event, while 51 (30 men; 21 women) have earned an NCAA B-cut time.

Up Next

Florida turns its attention to the NCAA Championships, beginning with the Zone B Diving Championships, running March 10-12 at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center in Auburn, Ala. Both the Men’s and Women’s 2025 NCAA will be held in Federal Way, Wash. at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center. The Women’s Championships takes place from March 19-22, followed by the Men’s Championships on March 26-29.
