UF SB: Shumaker, Falby & Williams Named NFCA All-Americans

All three are first-time NFCA All-American selections.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced on Wednesday afternoon that Florida softball players Taylor Shumaker, Kendra Falby and Mia Williams each earned NFCA All-American honors.

Shumaker was named an NFCA First Team All-American, while Williams and Falby were each NFCA All-American Second Team selections.

All three Gators are first-time NFCA All-America honorees.

Shumaker, the 2025 NFCA Freshman of the Year, is the only freshman in the NCAA to earn First Team honors this season.

The NFCA All-America teams are voted on by the Association’s All-America Committees.

In Division I, the committee is composed of one elected member head coach from each of the NFCA’s 10 regions.

  *   Through first six career NCAA games, is batting a team-best .500 (7-for-14) with four home runs, 10 RBI, eight runs, 10 walks and a 1.357 slugging percentage
  *   Recorded a team-high 23 multi-RBI, 24 multi-hit and five multi-home run games
  *   Swiped 18 bases in 19 attempts, second-most on the team

  *   Reached base in all but two of Florida’s 63 games and recorded a hit in 57 games
