Florida matched a program-best of seven NFCA All-Region selections for the second year in a row.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Seven players on the Florida softball team were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Gulf Region teams, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.
The Gators have three players represented on the NFCA All-Gulf First Team, one player named to the NFCA All-Gulf Region Second Team and a trio of players on the NFCA All-Gulf Region Third Team.
Overall, the seven selections are tied for the most all-region selections in program history along with the 2024, 2017 & 2016 squads.
Mia Williams (second base), Kendra Falby (outfield) and Taylor Shumaker (outfield) were first team selections, Reagan Walsh (first base) was a second team selection and Jocelyn Erickson (catcher), Korbe Otis (outfield) and Ava Brown (utility/pitcher) were each third team selections.
Falby has been an all-region selection in each of her four seasons, while Otis is now a three-time all-region honoree.
Walsh, Erickson and Brown are earning all-region recognition for the second year in a row.
It’s the first career NFCA All-Region honors for Shumaker and Williams.
Kendra Falby – Outfield – First Team

* Ranks in the top-12 nationally in hits (82), runs scored (63) and stolen bases (35) this season.

* Reached base in all but two of Florida’s 57 games and held a 48-game on-base streak this season from Feb. 6 to April 19
* Ranks second in program history in career hits (329) and stolen bases (117) and third in runs scored (251)
* Led the Gators in batting average for both the overall season (.439) and in SEC play (.393)
Taylor Shumaker – Outfield – First Team
* 2025 All-SEC First Team
* 2025 USA Softball Division I Collegiate Player of the Year Top 25 Finalist
* 2025 NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year Top 10 Finalist
* Ranks fourth in the NCAA in RBI (76), most of any Power 4 freshman
* Four-time SEC Freshman of the Week (Feb. 10, March 10, April 22 & May 5)
* Slugged 18 home runs, tied for fifth-most by any freshman in the country
* Batted .380 with 70 hits, a team-best 17 doubles, 18 home runs, 30 walks and 18 stolen bases
* Has set new Florida freshman records in RBI, doubles and runs scored and is just one shy of matching the program’s rookie home run record
Mia Williams – Second Base – First Team
* 2025 All-SEC Second Team
* Named SEC Player of the Week on April 15
* Hit a team-best 19 home runs, which is tied for fifth-most in a single season in program history
* Had 10 home runs in SEC play, third-most of any player in the conference
* Held a .716 slugging percentage in SEC games, a team-best, with 20 RBI, 21 hits, 17 runs and two doubles
* Slugged a pair of home runs at Ole Miss on April 11, the first multi-home run game of her career
* 50% of her hits on the season (28-of-56) went for extra bases
* Batted .344 with 56 hits, 47 runs, eight doubles, a triple, 40 RBI, 13 walks and 11 hit by pitches
Reagan Walsh – First Base – Second Team
* 2025 All-SEC First Team
* Named SEC Player of the Week on March 3 and NFCA Player of the Week on March 4
* Led the Gators with 11 multi-hit and nine multi-RBI games in SEC play
* Ranked in the top-10 in the SEC in hits (31), RBI (26), batting average (.388), total bases (49) and sacrifice flies (3) in league play
* Recorded 17 multi-hit and 15 multi-RBI games
* Batted .341 with 56 hits, 26 runs, 13 home runs, a triple, 56 RBI, second-most on the team, with 19 walks and six sacrifice flies
* Ranks second in program history in career RBI (225) and holds the program record for career sacrifice flies (22)
Korbe Otis – Outfield – Third Team
* 2025 SEC Scholar Athlete
* Batted .316 with 50 hits, 38 runs, seven doubles, five home runs, 40 RBI, 45 walks, second-most on the team, and six stolen bases
* Recorded 14 multi-hit and 12 multi-RBI games
* Held a .466 on-base percentage and reached base in all but six of Florida’s 57 games
* Had two walk-off hits: a grand slam vs. Arkansas (April 5) and an RBI single against Alabama (April 19)
Jocelyn Erickson – Catcher – Third Team
* Batted .309 with 50 runs, 47 hits, 13 doubles, two triples, 14 home runs, 52 RBI, a team-best 46 walks and 11 hit by pitches
* Of her 47 hits, 62% went for extra bases
* Held a .488 on-base percentage, second-best on the team
* Had a perfect fielding percentage in 278 chances with 262 putouts and 16 assists
* Threw out eight runners trying to steal
Ava Brown – Utility/Pitcher – Third Team
* A two-way player, held the lowest ERA (2.66) on Florida’s staff with the second-most innings pitched (94.2)
* Held a 10-3 record in the circle on the season, with a 4-2 record in SEC play
* Made a team-high 29 appearances in the circle and 11 starts
* Led the team with four saves, including back-to-back saves against No. 1 Oklahoma on May 2 & 3
* At the plate, batted .298 with 26 hits, five doubles, eight home runs, 20 RBI, 25 walks and two hit by pitches
* Hit first career grand slam at LSU on April 26
