BLACKSBURG, Va. – Game one of the NCAA Blacksburg Super Regional was paused in the top of the fifth inning Friday afternoon due to weather conditions at Tech Softball Park. Play will resume Saturday at 10:02 a.m. on ESPNU.
The Gators (46-16) and the Hokies (45-8) were about to enter the top of the fifth inning of play when play was halted due to a weather system moving through the area. Virginia Tech currently holds the lead in the contest 6-0 over Florida.
Game two of the series is still scheduled for 12 p.m. on ESPN.
