NJIT transfer Perez Ramos and Cyprus native Timini, will join the Gators for the 2025-2026 season
GAINESVILLE, Fla.- Florida men’s tennis has added two new additions for the upcoming 2025-2026 season, transfer Pablo Perez Ramos and freshman Andreas Timini.
Perez Ramos comes to Florida after four seasons at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. During the 2024-2025 season Perez Ramos went 13-1 in singles play moving his career singles record to 71-21. Perez Ramos was named to the Second Team in the No. 1 singles position after going 13-1 in doubles last season.
Perez Ramos is no stranger to exceptional play as he had a phenomenal season in 2024 after being named the NJIT Male Athlete of the Year, Southland Tournament MVP, and placed on the All-Tournament Team.
Timini is a native of Cyprus and brings a strong junior and early professional resume to Gainesville, having achieved a career-high ITF Junior ranking of No. 41 in March 2024. He has competed on some of the sport’s biggest stages, including the junior draws at Wimbledon and the US Open. The freshman has competed in Wimbledon, Roland Garros, and the US Open.
On the pro circuit, Timini reached a career-high ATP ranking of No. 1286 in singles and No. 1113 in doubles. Most recently, he represented Cyprus in the 2025 Davis Cup, competing against elite international competition.
