UF MTN: Florida Holds Steady at No. 24 in ITA Rankings

The Gators maintain top-25 standing ahead of ITA Kick-Off Weekend

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gators men’s tennis team remain ranked No. 24 in the latest ITA’s team rankings following a dominant performance on Monday to open the Gators’ spring dual match schedule.

Florida’s last outing featured a 6-1 home victory against Georgia Southern. The Gators claimed the doubles point during the weekend with No. 16 Tanapatt Nirundorn<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/tanapatt-nirundorn/16114>/Henry Jefferson<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/henry-jefferson/16661> and No. 76 Kevin Edengren<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/kevin-edengren/16662>/Jeremy Jin<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/jeremy-jin/16118> earning wins.

On the singles side, five Gators chipped in to secure the match for the Orange and Blue. Adhithya Ganesan<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/adhithya-ganesan/16660>, Jefferson, Nirundorn, Edengren, and freshman Ben Weintraub<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/ben-weintraub/17051> won their matches in straight set efforts.

The Gators will travel to New York City to compete in ITA Kick-Off Weekend. Florida faces Middle Tennessee on January 25. UF enters the match the No. 2 seed at Columbia.
