The Gators travel to Athens to compete in the ITA Southeast Regional Championships.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida men’s tennis team continues its Fall season with a trip to Athens for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional Championships at the Magill Tennis Complex at the University of Georgia.
14 schools across Florida and Georgia are set to take part in the individual event. The tournament begins action Wednesday and runs through Sunday.
Eight Gators are set to compete in the singles competition. Florida will also have three doubles teams competing in the tournament with pairings of Henry Jefferson/Tanapatt Nirundorn, Jeremy Jin/Kevin Edengren, Francesco Cordova/ JanMagnus Johnson.
The Division I finalists of the singles draw and the doubles champions will earn qualification for the NCAA Singles and Doubles National Championships in Waco, Texas from November 18-24.
