AUGUSTA, Ga. – Current Florida men’s golfer Noah Kent will tee it up at the 89th edition of the Masters this week.

Kent will tee off round one on Thursday at 8:35 a.m. and Friday at 11:49 a.m., paired with Bernhard Langer and Will Zalatoris. Kent is one of five amateurs in this field and qualified for the tournament after finishing runner-up at the 2024 United States Amateur Championship.

The Naples, Fla. native joined the Gators in the winter after spending his two seasons at Iowa. Kent will have two years of eligibility left and begin play at UF next fall. He recently made his PGA Tour debut at the Texas Children’s Houston Open and finished T5 at the Terra Cotta Invitational.

Kent joined fellow teammate Parker Bell this past December and participated in the 2025 Walker Cup Practice Session. In his freshman season at Iowa, Kent set the program record for stroke average by a freshman with a mark of 72.8. He played in every tournament (15) there and was in the No. 1 spot seven times. In 45 collegiate rounds, 21 have been for par or better with 10 top-25, five top-10 and two top-5 finishes. Last season, he tied for second-lowest round in Hawkeye history with a 63 at the Puerto Rico Classic.
