TAMPA, Fla. – The fifth-ranked Florida lacrosse team (2-1, 0-0 Big 12) travels to Tampa for its first ever regular season meeting against the USF Bulls (3-0, 0-0 AAC) on Tuesday at Corbett Stadium. First draw is set for 6 p.m.
The Gators are coming off their first loss of the season to No. 3 UNC by a score of 14-9. UF was led by Gianna Monaco who totaled three goals and Frannie Hahn who passed out a career best four assists. Monaco (eight goals, one assist) and Hahn (two goals, seven assists) are tied for the team league in points, as UF has eight players averaging at least one point per game through three games this season.
Outlook on the Bulls
In their first season as a program, USF is off to a 3-0 start, lastly defeating Lehigh 17-7 on Friday. The Bulls are led by VCU transfer Julianna George, who leads the team in goals (8), assists (4) and points (12). The Bulls are participating in the American Athletic Conference (AAC).

UF owns a 19-1 record all-time against teams in the state of Florida (Jacksonville and Stetson), winning by a margin of 11.1 goals per game.
Bragg Causing a Chance of History
Defender Theresa Bragg is tied for third in the country in caused turnovers with nine. Bragg is currently averaging 3.0 caused turnovers per game, on pace to break the Florida caused turnovers season record of 43, set by Cara Trombetta in 2018. The Severna Park, Md. native has had three or more caused turnovers in four straight games going back to last season, good for the longest streak in program history.
