Florida was one of 123 Division I teams to have a players named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida lacrosse team had nine student athletes named to the 2025 Division I IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. The news was announced Wednesday afternoon.
The nine Gators named to the honor roll consisted of Brie Catts, Kaitlyn Davies, Josie Hahn, Georgia Hoey, Gianna Monaco, Ava Tighe, Carly Wilson, Sydney Wilson, and Jennifer Woodings.
To be eligible for this honor, student athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater. This year the IWLCA honored 1,176 student athletes from 123 different institutions.
On the field, the Gators finished the 2025 season with a 20-3 record and went 5-0 in the Big 12. The Gators were able to hoist the conference tournament championship trophy after beating Arizona State, and made their second straight appearance in the NCAA Final Four after beating Duke in the quarterfinals.
