UF LAX: Bragg, Davies, Hahn Named Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-Americans

Theresa Bragg and Kaitlyn Davies were named to the second team, while Frannie Hahn was named honorable mention.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Three players from the Florida lacrosse team were named Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-Americans, announced Thursday morning.

Defender Theresa Bragg and midfielder Kaitlyn Davies were named Second Team All-Americans, while attacker Frannie Hahn was named Honorable Mention. A total of 65 players were named all-Americans with 13 players selected to the first, second and third teams each along with 26 named honorable mention.

Bragg has started all 10 games for the Gators on defense, logging a team high 17 caused turnovers, combined with 14 ground balls and two draw controls. The Severna Park, Md. native has totaled two or more caused turnovers in five games and has scooped two or more ground balls in four games this season. The captain has been named Big 12 Defender of the Week twice this season.

Davies has made 10 starts for UF at midfield, totaling 25 goals, two assists, 12 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and 14 draw controls. The Wayne, N.J. native has corralled five hat-tricks this season, including six consecutive multi-goal games. Davies is coming off a career high five goals and has racked up 12 goals over her last three games. The captain was recently named Big 12 Midfielder of the Week after her three goal, three ground ball, five draw control and five caused turnover performance against Clemson last Thursday.

Hahn, has recorded a team high 31 assists and 49 points to go along with 18 goals, nine ground balls, four caused turnovers and one draw control across 10 games played and five starts. The Catonsville, Md. native has totaled five games this season with three or more assists and three games with eight or more points. Hahn tied the game program record with eight assists against Navy on March 12, and became the sixth player in UF history to total 10 or more points, in her seven goals and three assists performance on March 1 against James Madison.
