Gainesville, Fla. – ESPN and the Southeastern Conference announced the 2021 baseball television programming schedule Wednesday afternoon, with one of its crown jewels being No. 1 Florida’s season-opening game against No. 21 Miami.
First pitch for the inaugural game at Florida Ballpark at Alfred A. McKethan Field is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 on SEC Network.
The Gators, who are the unanimous preseason No. 1 team, are scheduled to play 10 other television games this season. Nine of UF’s 11 television games are set to be broadcast via SEC Network, including a Tuesday, April 13 meeting with in-state rival Florida State. The Friday and Sunday games of Florida’s series against No. 4 Vanderbilt will air via ESPNU and ESPN2, respectively.

A total of 76 SEC baseball games are slated to be televised during the 2021 regular season, with the SEC Network airing 59 games. Another 16 will be telecast by ESPNU, while the Florida-Vanderbilt matchup will be the only regular-season game on ESPN2.
In addition, two wildcard games during the final weekend of the regular season (May 21-22) will be selected to air on the SEC Network.
