BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics had 282 student-athletes recognized on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced on Wednesday. UAB enjoyed the third highest percentage of the 14 C-USA teams with 67% of its student-athletes receiving the honor.
Student-athletes named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

UAB had representation from all 18 of its teams on the 2020-21 Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Overall, C-USA had 3,501 student-athletes on the list, an 11% increase from last year.
Conference USA will announce its Academic Medal on Thursday, which is student-athletes who maintained a 3.75 GPA or higher.
