Trio of Panthers Earn All-Star Game Invites
MIAMI (Dec. 6, 2019) – A trio of Panthers have locked up early invites for postseason all-star games, as James Morgan, Anthony Jones and Stantley Thomas-Oliver III have garnered interest among scouts.
Morgan has earned invitations to the East-West Shrine Game (Jan. 18) and the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl (Jan. 18). The Panther QB has thrown for 39 scores in his two seasons at FIU, sitting three touchdown passes shy of tying the career mark at FIU.
For Jones and Thomas-Oliver III, the duo has each received an invitation for the Tropical Bowl (Jan. 12). Jones has been FIU’s leading rusher this season, with 803 yards and has earned nine touchdowns on the ground. Thomas-Oliver III has been a lockdown corner on his side of the field, while earning an INT and team-high seven pass breakups.
