WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The third-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Tennis team was defeated 4-3 by No. 1 Barry in the Sunshine State Conference Championship match on Sunday afternoon at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center. Four of the six singles matches went to a decisive third-set, as the Sharks showed tremendous resilience during the championship match.

Doubles
- Isabella Ciancaglini and Kristyna Hranacova defeated Ailen Crespo Andrea Di Palma, the ninth ranked doubles tandem in DII, 6-4
- Sofia Shing and Noemie Dadoun were defeated 6(5)-7(7) by Viktoriia Dema and Maria Tartarnikova
- Ita Habekovic and Julia Moraes lost 2-6 to Dinara Alloiarova and Alina Michalitsch
Singles
- Kristyna Hranacova defeated Alina Michalitsch, 6-1, 7(7)-6(4)
- Ita Habekovic added a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Viktoriia Dema for the Sharks
- Sofia Shing fell in a hard-fought three-set match to Andrea Di Palma
- Isabella Ciancaglini outlasted Dinara Alloiarova in three sets, winning 6-1, 3-6, 6-4
- Noemie Dadoun dropped her match in three sets to Angela Leweurs
- Julia Moraes fell in a three-set battle to Ailen Crespo.
