FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men’s and Women’s Swim teams closed out competition in their tri-meet against Florida International and Lynn on Saturday morning from the NSU Aquatic Center. The Men’s Swim team took down the Fighting Knights 245-146. The Women’s Swim team defeated the Fighting Knights 248-142, but fell to the Panthers 235.5-152.5.
(Women’s)
- The group of Maria Goncalves, Hannah Montgomery, Kristina Orban, and Maya Esparza took second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:51.18.
- In the 1000 free, Hailey Williams secured first with a time of 10:24.32.
- With a time of 52.11, Esparza finished first in the 100 free. Finishing in second with a time of 52.28 was Orban.
- Zsofia Kurdi, Orban, Bethany Weber, and Esparza placed second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:35.94.

- Gustav Henriksen, Inigo Marina, Joshua Parry, and Gavin Lindley were victorious in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:22.90.
- Luca Alessandrini captured first in the 1000 free with a time of 9:31.20. Behind him in second was William Johnson, with a time of 9:56.56.
- In the 100 IM, Parry placed second with a time of 51.71.
- With a time of 24.19, Lindley took second in the 50 back.
- Inigo Marina finished first in the 100 breast with a time of 55.80.
- In the 100 free, Thomas Flower was victorious with a time of 45.60.
- Henriksen placed first in the 200 back with a time of 1:51.40.
- With a time of 49.70, Parry secured first in the 100 fly.
- Henriksen captured another first place finish, this time in the 400 IM with a time of 4:06.49. Behind Henriksen in second place was Johnson with a time of 4:16.86.
- The group of Mateus Ribeiro, Flower, Tres Izquierdo, and Alessandrini took first in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:24.79.
The Sharks Swim teams are back in the pool on November 21st in Charlotte, North Carolina as they take part in the Queens University of Charlotte’s Fall Frenzy.
