BROWNS VS. JAGUARS – SUNDAY, NOV. 29
In Week 12, the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) host the Cleveland Browns (7-3) at 1 p.m. at TIAA Bank Field. The Jaguars have won three consecutive games against the Browns, and their .708 winning percentage against Cleveland is the best figure against any opponent in franchise history. This week’s game will be broadcast regionally on CBS and locally on WJAX-47.

GLENNON’S TIME: On Wednesday, Head Coach Doug Marrone announced that QB Mike Glennon will take the field as Jacksonville’s starting quarterback this Sunday. The eight-year veteran is slated to make his 30th career start and his first since 2017 with the Bears. He has thrown for 5,163 yards and 36 TDs on 488 completions in his NFL career with stops in Tampa Bay (2013-16), Chicago (2017), Arizona (2018), Oakland (2019) and Jacksonville (2020).
Glennon faced the Browns previously in Week 9 of the 2014 season with the Buccaneers and completed 17 of 33 passes for 260 yards and two TDs.

SCHO-TIME FACES FORMER TEAM: LB Joe Schobert will face his former team for the first time this weekend when the Browns come to the Bank. Schobert was originally drafted by Cleveland in the fourth round (99th overall) of the 2016 draft and appeared in 61 games with the team from 2016-19. In his four years with Cleveland, he led the team in tackles (394 total tackles), forced fumbles (seven) and INTs (six) during that span. He earned Pro Bowl honors with Cleveland in 2017 and has continued his strong play in Jacksonville this season. He has posted 84 tackles in 2020, which ranks second in the AFC, in 2020 and is one of two linebackers in the NFL this season with 80-plus tackles and one INT through the first 11 weeks of the season.

COOKE’S CORNER: P Logan Cooke booted a 67-yard punt in Week 11 against Pittsburgh, marking his longest punt of the season and the longest punt by any player in the NFL in Week 11. Cooke, who was the only player in the NFL with a punt of 60-plus yards in Week 11, has placed eight punts inside the 20 over the last three weeks (Weeks 9-11), the most in the NFL during that span. His 43.5 net punting average is the second-highest in the AFC this season, and his 44.2 net punting average since 2019 is the third-highest in the NFL in that span.
QUOTABLE: “Logan’s a good athlete. One of the things that probably gets overlooked the most is how great of a holder he is. I think that’s another job that a lot of people kind of take for granted … [He] always has a really good demeanor, never really gets rattled, can come back if it’s a poor kick because everyone’s going to have those from time to time. J-ROB BREAKING RECORDS: RB James Robinson led the Jaguars in scrimmage yards for the eighth time this season in Week 11 against Pittsburgh, picking up 94 yards (73 rushing and 21 receiving) against the Steelers. Last week, Robinson became the fifth undrafted rookie in the common-draft era to record 1,000 scrimmage yards in a season and the third Jaguars player to do so in their first 10 career games.
Robinson is on pace to finish with 1,618 scrimmage yards which would mark the most scrimmage yards in NFL history by an undrafted rookie, and with 11 scrimmage yards this weekend, he will surpass RB LeGarrette Blount for the third-most scrimmage yards by an undrafted rookie in NFL history. The Illinois State product has produced 90-plus scrimmage yards in each of his last four games and joins Vikings RB Dalvin Cook as the only players in the NFL with at least 90-plus scrimmage yards in each of their last four games.
Robinson has been incredibly productive on the ground with just 11 of his 172 rushes going for negative yards. Of the seven players in the NFL with at least 150 rush attempts, Robinson’s 11 carries for negative yards are the second-fewest in the league.

HOMETOWN HEROES: DT DaVon Hamilton was selected in the third round of the 2020 draft (73rd overall) by the Jaguars and has made an immediate impact through his first 10 games. The Pickerington, Ohio native attended Ohio State and enters this Sunday’s game against his home-state team with 29 tackles, the most among all rookie defensive linemen.
In Week 10, Hamilton started alongside rookie DT Doug Costin, who attended Miami (Ohio). Costin has recorded 14 tackles in 2020, the fifth-most among all undrafted rookies. S Jarrod Wilson grew up inAkron, Ohio and has started six games this season at safety. After signing with the Jaguars in 2016 as a rookie free agent, Wilson serves as one of the team’s captains and has recorded 30 tackles and one INT this year.
