MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Softball team secured a dominant win over Barry University on Friday evening. NSU was led by a two-hit performance from Tia Williams and Emily Thomas in the Sunshine State victory.

TOP 2nd | Tia Williams got it started with a triple to left field, bringing Madison Fine across home plate for the first NSU run of the game. Shortly after, Tia Williams scored, giving NSU an early 2-0 lead.
TOP 4th | Hailey Lynch tacked another run, due to a Buccaneer error.
TOP 6th | Alexis Smith batted in the first run of the inning to give the Sharks a 4-0 lead. With runners on second and third, Kerstyn Shaw came across home plate off of a wild pitch from Barry. Ryleigh Langwell wanted a piece of the action, hitting an RBI single, putting the sixth run on the board for the Sharks. Ultimately sealing tonight’s SSC victory of Barry University 6-0.

The Sharks will conclude its series with Barry with a double-header on Saturday, April 29 in Miami Shores, Fla. First-pitch is set for 4:00 p.m.
