Seminars & Features Set for Michigan Outdoor Life/Field & Stream Expo in Lansing, March 13-15

LANSING, Mich. (February 27, 2020) — Leading industry experts headline the seminars and features at the Michigan Outdoor Life/Field & Stream Expo at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Mich., Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15. The Seminar Series will educate and inform outdoor enthusiasts, while a numerous features will offer enhanced entertainment value.
 
One of the highlights for attendees of all ages will be Byron Ferguson performing his always popular Trick Shot Archery Show. The native of Alabama has been known to shoot a Lifesaver candy with his traditional bow and also shares various entertaining and often humorous stories from hunting excursions over the years.
 
Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois will demonstrate Wild Game Cooking presented by Field & Stream Magazine, sharing his passion for the outdoors, along with his love of cooking and fine food. The Louisiana native is a renowned Chef in New York City.
 
Jason Caldwell of Raptors Up Close will educate outdoor enthusiasts about the fascinating world of raptors, illustrating the different species, biology, predation of prey, the ancient sport of falconry, and raptors relationship to man in the past and present as part of the Seminar Series.
 
Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo from the Outdoor Channel will also be part of the Seminar Series, chatting about “Reality Hunting.” The couple has hunted on five continents, 11 countries, 10 Canadian provinces, and 27 states. The Cianciarulos have taken over 50 different species of big game from around the world.
 
Randy Flannery, who is a Master Guide in Maine, and has been writing for outdoor publications and hosting seminars for many years, will share his insight on stalking and tracking white-tail deer.
 
Also part of the Seminar Series, will be Eddie Salter, the “Turkey Man,” who has been hunting since the age of eight and harvested his first gobbler at 10-years-old. Salter has a remarkable record in Turkey Calling competition, claiming seven Southeastern Open Turkey Calling Championships, six Alabama State Championships and two World Open Championships.
 
Mark Menendez, a National B.A.S.S. Pro Fisherman, is part of the Seminar Series this year. The three-time Bassmaster Champion will share insight on bass fishing and his career on the Pro Tour.
 
John O’Brion, who is the owner of Grandpa Ray Outdoors and has been a crop advisor and seed specialist for over 20 years, will impart his knowledge on the importance of planting the right forages at the right times.
 
Bernie Barringer, who is one of the world’s foremost authorities on black bear hunting, will discuss the baiting of big bears, along with offering suggestions on tactics and strategies for hunters to fill their valuable bear tags.
 
The Keefer Brothers, who are the co-owners and producers of Rusted Rooster Media, will be special guests at the Lansing Expo. The Keefer Brothers are outdoorsmen, athletes, producers, marketers, story tellers, music makers and survivors.
