SEC Gymnast of the Week Earned by Florida’s Selena Harris-Miranda
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It’s another weekly honor for Florida junior gymnast Selena Harris-Miranda.
Yesterday, Inside Gymnastics<https://www.insidegymnastics.com/news-features/2025-ncaa-monday-minute-week-4/> named Harris-Miranda the National Gymnast of the Week after winning her second consecutive all-around title. Today, she shares her first Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week honor with Oklahoma’s Jordan Bowers.
It’s her first SEC Gymnast of the Week honor, but her fourth conference weekly honor of her career. A three-time Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week recipient in 2024, Harris-Miranda went on to earn that season’s Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year in her final season with UCLA.
Harris-Miranda used the nation’s leading all-around total of last weekend, 39.625, to win her second consecutive all-around title in Florida’s win Friday versus No. 13 Georgia. Florida tallied the nation’s 2025 high of 198.125 in Friday’s win.

* Won second consecutive all-around title with week’s national high of 39.625. Score is season best and title is 14th of collegiate career.
* Anchored Florida’s vault lineup with winning mark of 9.95 as Florida posted the nation’s high vault (49.55) total of the season. Harris-Miranda’s first win of season for event and seventh of career.
* Turned in a season-high 9.925 to anchor Florida’s beam lineup, which posted season’s top total of 49.675.
* In Jan. 27 Road to National standings, No. 3 all-around (39.563), T13 vault (9.883), T9 beam (9.90), T14 floor (9.90)

No. 4 Utah (6-3, 1-0 Big 12) defeated Brigham Young 196.975 – 195.325 Friday in Provo, Utah. The Utes are the second 2024 NCAA Team final opponent for the Gators this season as UF lost by a tenth Jan. 17 at then No. 2 and defending NCAA champion LSU.
