BOCA RATON, Fla. – Pitcher Gabby Sacco and Outfielder Presley Leebrick were named AAC Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office.
Leebrick helped the Florida Atlantic softball team sweep the Roadrunners over the past weekend. This marks the third conference sweep for Florida Atlantic. The graduate student Leebrick led the Owls with a .571 batting average with four runs, four hits, three RBI, and one home run. She was patient at the plate and recorded five walks on the weekend. Leebrick also registered a 1.000 slugging percentage and .750 on-base percentage. On the season, Leebrick leads the Owls in walks with 39.

Sacco appeared in two games with 10 innings pitched on the weekend. She registered a 0.70 ERA with nine strikeouts. In 10 innings, she held UTSA to one run. On the year, she totals 83.0 innings, 53 strikeouts, five complete games, and four shutouts thus far. Sacco was named the Female Athlete of the Year at the Owlspy’s.
