BOCA RATON, Fla. – Pitcher Ainsley Lambert was named AAC Pitcher of the Week and outfielder Kamryn Jackson was named AAC Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Jackson helped the Owls sweep Tulsa to claim the first regular season title in school history in the AAC. She recorded a .545 batting average over the week weekend. Jackson always finds a way to get on base, as it was a big moment when she got hit by a pitch to load the bases to get things started for the Owls in game one. She leads the Owls and the league in hit-by-pitches. In game two, she went 2-for-4 with two runs, including a double to right center to get Florida Atlantic going, being tied 2-2 in the sixth inning. To complete the sweep, on the last game of the regular season, she hit her eighth home run of the season to put the Owls on top early in the game. Jackson totaled five runs, six hits, and four RBI to close out the regular season.

Lambert was a vital part of the pitching staff this weekend to help the Owls secure the No. 1 seed and claim the regular season title for the first AAC title in school history. Lambert registered her eighth save of the season and improved her record to 9-2. On the weekend, she registered a 0.00 ERA in six innings pitched with six strikeouts. She held the Golden Hurricane to one hit and zero runs while in the circle.
