TAMPA, April 7, 2023 – Freshman Alexa Galligani (White Plains, N.Y.) led the University of South Florida (24-18, 4-3 AAC) softball team to a 2-1 win over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (16-19, 2-3 AAC) in extra innings on Friday afternoon.
The Bulls and Golden Hurricane entered the eighth inning tied at one. Gabriella Nori (Weston) and the South Florida defense retired the first three batters to head to the bottom half of the inning.
