Pompano Beach Drone Show has been rescheduled for Nov. 12

The highly anticipated Drone Show originally scheduled with the Fisher Family Pier Dedication that was forced to cancel due to rain and lightning, has been rescheduled! The new date will be Saturday, November 12th at 8:00 p.m. The selection of the date was carefully thought out as summer storms, holidays, turtle season and other factors played a role in the decision. The show will be best viewed south of the Pier, as a spectacular futuristic production by Firefly Drone Shows, skies will light up with a dramatically choreographed presentation of 200 brightly lit drones coordinated by world-class artists and engineers.

The first two hours of the Grand Opening of the Fisher Family Pier and Fishing Village were amazing! Thousands came out to enjoy the evening filled with live music, food tastings from local restaurants, and inspiring speeches by City leaders. Then storm clouds took centerstage as torrents of rain and lightning filled the sky instead of the highly anticipated drone show. But that’s Florida!

“We are thrilled to come together as a community to officially dedicate the Fisher Family Pier,” said Mayor Rex Hardin. “This Pier not only honors the legacy of one of Pompano Beach’s founding families, but also serves as a tremendous example of our City’s progress and a paradigm for other cities to follow.”
