BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic softball team (23-7) will travel to Miami to face the Panthers in another non-conference matchup for the second time this season. The first pitch is set for 6 p.m. and aired on ESPN+.
After an AAC sweep against UAB this past weekend, the Owls will go on the road to Miami to face a familiar team. This marks the second time these two teams have faced each other this season after being in different conferences.
THE RUNDOWN
This meeting marks the 106th matchup between these two teams. The two teams have faced each other once this season in Boca Raton when the Owls took the 8-3 victory in the first non-conference matchup since joining the American Athletic Conference.

- Florida Atlantic is now 23-7 on the season
- Pitcher Trinity Schlotterbeck leads the pitching staff with a 10-2 record and 67.2 innings pitched
- Junior pitcher Ainsley Lambert leads the Owls in ERA with a 1.99
- Jesiana Mora and Kiley Channell are the two leaders in batting average for Florida Atlantic
- After a great weekend against UAB, Channell leads the Owls with 11 doubles. She was named AAC Weekly Honor (Mar. 18)
- The Owls lead the conference in scoring
- Lambert is no. 4 in the nation in saves (4) and first in the conference
- Schlotterbeck is tied for first in the conference in victories (10) and tied for no. 17 in the nation
