Oakland Park’s move to the new Sky Building is well underway. City staff are continuing to settle into their new spaces, and city staff ask for the community’s patience and support during this exciting transition. For now, City services remain available at City Hall at 3650 NE 12th Avenue and the Municipal Building at 5399 N. Dixie Highway.
The City of Oakland Park is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural spaces that make our community unique. As part of that effort, Lakeside Sand Pine Preserve, located at 2820 NW 27 Avenue, will temporarily close for maintenance beginning Saturday, October 11th, 2025.
During this period, crews will complete trail and signage upgrades and make other improvements designed to enrich the visitor experience while preserving the park’s unique Sand Pine Scrub ecosystem—one of Florida’s rare and treasured natural habitats.
