Florida plays host to the NCAA Gainesville Regional this weekend and begins action Friday in the 7 p.m. session of NCAA Second Round Regional action.
The top two teams at each of the nation’s four regional sites advance to Ft. Worth, Texas, for the April 18 & 20 NCAA Championships

NCAA Regional Info:
Florida advanced to the NCAA Championships 39 times in the meet’s 41-year history, missing the 2000 and 2019 events. Florida moved from NCAA Championships semifinal competition to the NCAA team final 16 of the Gators’ last 19 national competition appearances (2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023). Florida won the 2013, 2014 and 2015 NCAA titles.
The Gainesville Regional includes nine teams from six different conferences – No. 4 Florida, No. 13 Missouri & No. 20 Georgia (SEC), No. 5 Utah (Pac-12), No. 10 Michigan State & No. 26 Maryland (Big Ten), No. 21 Towson (EAGL), No. 30 Clemson (ACC) and No. 36 Iowa State (Big 12). Four – Florida, Utah, Michigan State and Towson – won 2024 regular season and/or conference meet titles. Florida faced Georgia, Missouri and Iowa State this season with UF taking each win.

Here’s some tips to expedite your trip to the Exactech Arena for NCAA Regional action:
Getting TO the Arena:
* There is no reserved parking for NCAA Regional action.
* Parking is free and is first-come, first-serve at the top level of the O’Connell Center Garage, and the north end of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. O’Connell Center parking lot available for Friday’s 7 p.m. session and Sunday NCAA Regional Final.
* In addition, parking will be available on Thursday and Friday at Flavet Field. Campus parking restrictions are in effect until 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
* For 5-10 minutes following Gator gymnastics meets, Lemerand Drive will close for north and south bound traffic from University Avenue to Stadium Road to provide pedestrians a safe exit.

Getting IN the Arena:

* Gates 1 and 2 will be open. UF students should enter at Gate 3.
* All NCAA Gymnastics Regional tickets are mobile. Visit Mobile Ticketing Guide<https://spark.adobe.com/page/0oiC6OLlbeGQN/> to help expediate your entrance into the arena. To help zip through the entrance, be sure to add your tickets to your digital wallet in case of possible connectivity issues outside the gate. Then have tickets up on device to present for scanning.
* Bags are checked before entering the building. Everyone will go through the O’Connell Center metal detectors when entering. When using the metal detectors fans need to empty their pockets prior to screening, then walk through the detector. After that, tickets will be scanned and then you are ready to cheer your Gators!

Gainesville Regional Perfection:
The gymnasts who posted more than 20 percent of the nation’s 80 10.0s this season will be in the Exactech Arena this week. The NCAA Gainesville Regional includes 11 gymnasts with 18 perfect scores earned this season (22.5 percent).
Utah graduate Maile O’Keefe, the defending NCAA all-around and balance beam champion, leads the 11 with four perfect 2024 marks on beam. She posted a beam 10.0 in 2023 NCAA Semifinal and Team Final action.
