BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the second consecutive season, No. 15-ranked Florida Atlantic beach volleyball is headed to the Conference USA tournament, earning the No. 2 seed.
“The girls are ready to compete and so am I,” expressed head coach Steve Grotowski. “They have played very well this season and are very deserving of the No. 2 seed and a bye in the first round. I anticipate we will play Tulane. They have also had one of their best seasons and will be a tough match.”
The 2023 C-USA Beach Volleyball Tournament will begin on Thursday, April 27. The tournament features a six-team field competing in a double-elimination bracket format.
As the two-seed, the Sandy Owls earn a first round by and will open play on Thursday at 1:30 p.m., facing off against the winner of match two between No. 3 Tulane and No. 6 Jacksonville State.
