BY RICK CURTI I am glad to be back again to tell everyone why the city of Charlotte should have MLB? Most people don't know but in 2015 MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred was looking to expand and he really wants to see this happen? What's holding it up is that Tampa Bay and Oakland need new stadiums and soon as they get them, They will expand and Montreal will be the first to get it. The Montreal Expos are coming back and the question is who will be the 32nd team? Portland? Charlotte? Las Vegas? Wish I can tell you but I feel confident the city of Charlotte will have MLB and will join the Carolina Panthers and the Charlotte Hornets. Much to some peoples surprise, The great state of North Carolina has never had MLB and just over 2 years ago The Miami Marlins and the Atlanta Braves were in Fort Bragg Military base in Fayetteville, NC! It was the first ever MLB game played in North Carolina and the first ever game played in a active military base. There is so much rich history of professional sports in the great state of North Carolina.
