MIAMI – As part of the club’s Fourth of July celebration, the Miami Marlins are honoring active and retired military personnel and veterans with Military Appreciation Day presented by Werner, Hoffman, Greig & Garcia (WHG) on Thursday, July 4. During the day, select veterans and their families will hold the American flag on the field for the National Anthem, deliver the game’s lineup card, and make the “play ball” announcement prior to the game, as well as change the bases during the game.
